Raza Jaffrey


English actor, best known for Eastern Promises (2007), Harry Brown (2009) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), also starred in the American TV series Homeland (2014), Smash (2012) and the British secret agent TV series MI5 (2004 – 2007) as a series regular along with countless appearances in other films and TV shows. As a song and dance man, Raza recently completed a run in Chicago on London’s West End. A versatile performer, he is also a skilled voice over actor.
Raza studied English and Drama at Manchester University, and studied acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and is an alumni of Dulwich College.

Creator of the dance-show spectacular, “RED,” the show is a celebration of dozens of styles of movement and dance featuring flamenco, salsa, capoeira and hip-hop. There is also belly dance and kathkali, break dance and ballet. All these styles are brought together by their influences on and from India.

Raza resides in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles and holds a pilot’s license, where he flies regularly out of Van Nuys Airport, California. His nephew is musician Adam Jaffrey of The Trailer Trash Tracys.
