Hal Waite

Executive producer

Hal Waite is a veteran Hollywood animation producer, writer and lyrist. He learned his craft working with Steven Spielberg and is best known for his role as the Executive Producer on “Rugrats in Paris,” “Rugrats Go Wild” and “The Wild Thornberrys Movie.” Waite also Co-Produced “The Rugrats Movie” and wrote comedy lyrics for songs featured in those films and sound tracks.

With over 20 years in the business, Hal is a highly regarded Producer and Executive. Currently he is in development on several feature films under the working titles, “Shivers”, “SuperPapa” and “Chicago Jazz”.

He recently took on the role of Story Development Executive developing the script for “Dino Time,” a CG 3D animated feature film released in 2012 starring Jane Lynch and Rob Schneider. Waite, also served as the Associate Producer for Nickelodeon’s “The Ren & Stimpy Show” and prior to that he was with Amblimation, Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s former London based feature animation studio as Production Manager on “We’re Back, A Dinosaur’s Story.”

Additionally, Waite started in animation with Filmation Studios as it’s Financial Controller working on “He Man and Masters of the Universe,” “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids” among many other TV shows and feature films. Hal is also a singer, song writer
